This was the comment I left after reading the above article. When scanning the headline, I was rather surprised that Gareth Bale had 'bankruptcy fears'. After all, at one point in his career, Bale was earning over 拢500,000 per week at Real Madrid. I wasn't the only one surprised. The comments below mine included references to his 'lavish lifestyle', the fact Bale had a 'golf course, in his back garden' and, of course, those who found it funny.
